I am trying to figure out what the majority of simmers use for the 737.

I use both.  I-Fly and PMDG

Why? One is the pinnicale of Flight simming. And the other isn’t. Easy to work out which.

I know I'm voting in a niche but for me it is others. If I choose to take a 737 for a spin then it is a -200 from Milviz cause at least for me its about flying and not programming. The bush flying version of the 737 😉

And I use the iFly because it is closer if not identical to my company’s B737 spec compared to the PMDG version (even using the PMDG real and verified cockpit for my airline - the iFly can be configured closer).

PMDG may be a better product for a simmer but is not necessarily the best product for people who use desktop sims other RW purposes.

Any one use the Captainsim 737?

Thinking about adding it to the fleet

Back in FSX having both CS and Milviz ones I found the Milviz one more appealing both in cockpit and behaviour. In p3d I have only the MV one with the basic fmc missing but still a joy to fly. As I am not willing to throw a full price for a simple port over to p3d at CS I can't tell you how the CS one is flying in v4. Anyhow both more for a sale to get.

As this post is in the FS9 forum you should specify 'in FS9' as clearly a lot of posters here do not realise that.

Yeah, and I think you can't take anything from the poll as the votes for FS9 or FSX will give completely opposite results. Both FS9 and FSX users would be voting in this poll.

FS9 people go for iFly, FSX they go for PMDG. There are exceptions of course but generally speaking.

In 19 years of flight simming I have never flown a 737 (or anything bigger than a DC3) nor am I ever likely too. Just sayin'.

I suggest you start a new poll tagged as FS9.
