Everything is synced to your account the cloud, you do not need a backup.

What about button assignment? Can I save those as well?

Wondering this too. I've managed to import my PMDG737 presets into my PMDG 747. But the button assignments are all gone. Is there a way to copy the assignments? Doesn't seem to make sense that it would drop those.

Have searched up and down but can't seem to find an answer for this.

I'm fairly new to Chaseplane but had set up some cameras on a few planes, had to reinstall my sim month or so ago after formatting my system and no settings or cameras were re-imported when I reinstalled Chaseplane etc.  It did confuse me as I too believed it was all linked to your account.

Sorry, buy my assignments are NOT being saved, It does not occur with specific planes but at random. Some aircraft I have to reassign many buttons, even though I had previously assigned them as AA. Some buttons will still have AA designation but others for the same plane will require resetting.

On most planes almost half interior and exterior require reassigning AA .

A response would be appreciated,  Constantly reprogramming Presets is no fun
