November 21, 20187 yr Windows gives you the option to turn upgrades off or to get notifications. There is an option to turn off additional software / driver updates with a general Win 10 update also. Drivers will always be the big thing. I need to be current but am watchful. Cheers bs Hi, can you post some information on how to do this in Windows10, as I have been unable to figure this out. Turned off in Services simply gets turned on again after the next boot up. November 21, 20187 yr Sure Howard - if you have a search / Cortana on you taskbar type updates. On the Windows Update screen click the Advanced options. These are the options you have for Windows Update. However, I have the HOME version and I cannot 'refuse' the other Windows 10 updates as you can with the PRO version. But not disable them. Has that now changed? Edited November 21, 20187 yr by Mace Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

I only know of refusing device drive updates (mine is set to do that, so I don't get a magical nVidia x-mas present next time I boot my sim) -- or postponing /delaying updates. January 23, 20197 yr Google Group Policy editor. With Win Pro you can delay ALL updates for up to 365 days. When a big update comes out, wait a few months until all is good with P3D etc., and then re enable updates and let it update. Then "re enable" the block on updates, for another 365 days, and so on. Take back control ! Edited January 23, 20197 yr by Gabe777
