January 5, 20197 yr So cool, I've been wondering whether WWII pilots were still around. It has been a long time since WWII and I suppose someone 20 in 1945 would be about 93 now, about the age of a young WWII pilot or soldier. Once they are gone I hope the memory of what they fought for is not forgotten, as we are still in a war where racial and ideology wars are fought. John

Stan So well said, the best thing ever if you go to a car or aircraft museum is to tail older gentlemen like these and listen to them talk about the old cars or aircraft. I did that in the Reno Auto museum and had a great time enjoying their company. They made the greatest free docents.... John
