DEFINITELY will try the new mission system and then poke around with the mission creator...sounds like lots of opportunities there!

>DEFINITELY will try the new mission system and then poke>around with the mission creator...sounds like lots of>opportunities there!I view this as a "mission" of another sort.I can't count the times that I've come up with some crazy story in my head and put together a scenario for me to fly, keeping track of the "score" or "objectives" in my mind. I plan on putting as many of these as I can into the mission editor and spreading my imagination as far as I can.

>I, too, will be 41 next on my next birthday. ;)>>My recommendation to EVERYONE is this: load the game and just>click Fly Now and experience the DEFAULT flight on the DEFAULT>settings. This is the experience we have chosen for you and we>really hope you like it.>>Now, remember this experience as you start cranking up>settings and adding all your favorite add-ons and realize that>for at least one time the game looked pretty good and ran>pretty well!! :):-lol :-lol But you should know us guys by now :lol we are going to tweak :-lol....Serious I'm just going to fly and enjoy all the hard work you guys and girls have done at MS :-eekThen back to tweaking and all sliders to the right :-boom :-rollO and of course explorer my hometown airport EHAM :-)Andr

I'm going to fly the 172 around my hometown in Indiana, then I'm going to fire up the Baron and take it from FXE to Key West.

>Don't forget 69NH (formerly 8B8)That's what I was thinking. You also might want to remember to drop into 7B3 (Hampton Airfield).Of course I think everyone's first flight will be in the Carribean somewhere. Something tells me it will be tomorrow.

No one mentioned the G1000 on the Mooney. Hmmmmm......:)

Definitely going to be taking the beautiful Kenmore Air Beaver off from Lake Union, where I get to watch them in real life every morning. The screenshots look unbelievable...-Scott

My first flight will be to repeat something from the demo so I can compare the performance improvements (or lack of).Next, I'll trurn up details to what I would feel is reasonable, fly around a bit, shut down, cry ;( Then think about the best system upgrade route....

I'm going to start from Brisbane International in the Airbus and fly to Sydney. Then install my PMDG planes and fly up to Hong Kong across to Europe - destination London. Leaving the big city vibe behind Fife is next on the list. This is where my wife is from and she loves spotting out landmarks (improved the scenery?). From the scottish highlands I'll head out to the US where I'll spend a few weeks doing shorter legs and checking out some of the major airports. At somepoint I'll make my way back to Australia. BTW I'm going to see how long I can go without crashing. In fact I intend not crash FSX at all.

That's a nice feature. Thanks

I will take some flights around my favorite airport LSZH (Zurich) with AI-Traffic set to 100%. Based on this I want to see whether MS has fixed the following:- better spacing of incoming AI-traffic- traffic on different, non-parallel runways (LSZH is a good test for this)Walter

I am surprised no one else has mentioned this one ;) My first flight will be with maybe the microlight or beaver float plane around St Maarten and maybe between the two airports included in the demo.....First flight with FSX proper? who knows? who cares? Maybe circuits at Blackpool (EGNH) then leave the circuit to the East to Leeds (EGNM) via POL in the default Cessna.Cheers n BeersIan

Hah! My girlfriend's father lives on NH69 just up the road!Always a favorite cross country destination for me after leaving hometown KPVD. -Greg
