June 2, 200620 yr Great find. That cockpit looks really detailed. I wonder how much more detailed the Cessna 172 and Boeing 747 cockpits are going to be. Have texture sizes changed for VC as well?Rhydianwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com
June 2, 200620 yr Sadly I think it's just camera movement. I'm guessing Anticyclone will take care with that addon: ACTIVE CAMERA FSX EDITION no doubt.Rhydianwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com

June 2, 200620 yr I like the rock textures... early in the clip, lower left hand corner of screen, on the face of the cliff, it seems quite bumpy... could the mesh resolution be 1m? or maybe FSX has the ability to add some random bumps to the mesh so that the cliffs dont look smooth.
June 3, 200620 yr >Is this from E3? Where did it come from?Yes it is from E3. At the end of the clip it says simhq@e3Expo 2006.
June 3, 200620 yr looks like camera only to me, take a look on the wide shot, the cockpit stays in solid position relative to the edge of the screen. Dean MountfordUltimate VFR
June 3, 200620 yr That is a great clip.If you listen to the clip you can hear a high pitched whine, if I am correct this is a total energy variometer that has been modeled for climb and descent(while in a thermal) in a glider and it sounds just like the one in the Grob 103 I flew last yearTracy
June 3, 200620 yr All this talk about this head movement, im surprised no ones mentioned that you could see latent head movement in the very first video clip ms released way back in January. Take a look at the helicopter flying, i think towards the boat with the trees on the left side, there is a small amount of head movement :) Alaister Kay

It has been mentioned explicitly by more than one ACES poster that head latency movement is present, but it seems there are those who're still not convinced... ;) Fr. June 4, 200620 yr "That's probably because they didn't see the screenshot of the "Head Latency Movement" option check box - checked."I can't see that option on the FSX E3 screenshots. What tab is it under? I did notice an option under the aircraft tab that says "high-resolution virtual cockpit". Now that is cool.rhydianwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com
