Why can't P3D come with a flashlight for cold and dark cockpits? Fumbling around in the dark for the battery switch, then dome light is annoying and actually prevents me from doing more night flights. I know it's silly and stupid, but what pilot do you know who doesn't carry a flashlight of some sort in real life?

Not near my computer.  Look up Lorby_si flashlight.  It's free.  Problem solved.

Lorby made a freeware flashlight tool...works pretty well!

I no longer need that workaround in 4.5, especially with ENVTEX/ENVSHADE 😁

For those of you using that moon constant config line.

Gotta be honest with you. I've been paying close attention to what I can and can't see during different moon phases while up at cruise in real life and it is pretty realistic. I turned off all lights and displays in the cockpit and my FO and couldn't make out anything really. However during a full moon, the we could make out labels on panels and what not.

Dynamic lighting at he gate helps getting around the cockpit when there isn't a moon at night in the Sim.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠
