Featured Replies

I would like to check with you if you if any of you out there has a CTD on final approach into WSSS, the sim CTD regardless of aircraft type. What can i do to rectify this please. Any suggestion would help . I have also emailed Imaginesim with regards to this issue.

Thank you

Same here, coming for 20C via SURG1B Approach, CTD 10min before landing. Flying was with a QW789.

Yes, I sometimes get a CTD descending into WSSS when it loads. I've been avoiding the airport. Waste of money, frankly.

I have contacted Imaginesim with regards to this issue and according to them, its my PC settings. Honestly i don't think so cause it doesn't have the same issue with other airports. Prior to their updates, i never had this problem at all. So i really not sure which direction i should go with this.

I had some CTDs with former versions. Reducing setting and disabling PBR helped. I've not yet tested with the newest one.

I have PBR enabled (of course), animations turned off. Still CTD. And as others, before ImagineSim started their updates, I was able to fly in and out WSSS without any CTD...

I've now enabled PBR for WSSS (newest version) again and repeated a landing approach (02C) with my PMDG 747-400. Safe landing, no CTD. Off course fps are pretty low, 15-17 fps, during landing which may in parts caused by Samsoft Singapore too. I have also many ai traffic on this airport (AIG-OCI).

I discovered that at WSSS the frame rate would drop and long frames occured when the aircraft was pointed towards the city.  I have manually decreased my SCENERY_DRAW_DISTANCE=45000, which is just below VERY HIGH.  There is no need to be loading all of those scenery objects miles away when I'm on the ground, and in the air the impact is not as bad as expected. Also, this only impacts scenery objects.  The terrain textures and autogen stuff isn't effected.

This turn out to improve performance in the LA basin as well, although there is still room for improvement.

This result is with an  8700K 4.8GHz OC and 1080Ti SLI.

Bring up this topic as i had also one CTD on long approach (02L).

Second and thirth approach were OK, disabled animations and the city.

But on arrive at WSSS i have no dynamic light on the airport.    On departure all is OK.

Aircraft light does illuminate ground.  Yes i have enabled DL both in P3D and the scenery via Imaginesim operations center.

Someone has a clue how to fix this?

Regards,
