BTW, have you noticed the door light intensity?   Seems too strong, or is it some config i got to try?

My AP lights aren't illuminating at all. ALT SEL was showing up until I hit cruise and ALT HOLD took over. Now, no lights are illuminated but the AP is still working. On v4.2g and P3D v4.5

Several people have reported this and it's happened to me occasionally as well.  One suggestion that seems to help is to load a startup situation with the F-35 then switch to the desired aircraft.

+1 Happening to mee again, and loading F35 did not work before for me.... i even loaded de piper cub..... 

This time i prepared a cargo model, took off and noticed the lighting problem.  First time happening using HF2.   Im comming from a full format fresh install, so it is something to look at...

Another observation.   When lowering down the gears, the Hydraulic sound keeps "on" in the background.... at least that is what it sounds like.... and remains continuously until touchdown....is this normal?    Sounds a bit weird to me....  Or may be the wind truly whistles like that when lowering the gear on a learjet?

Regarding the use of P3Dv4.5 HF2 mentioned above, it seems REX is still working on a version of the Advantage WX Radar that is compatible with HF2. I am waiting for this WX Radar update before installing HF2, so I don't know what to expect if you use the existing WX radar version (Tech Update 7) with HF2.

I also sometimes have a problem with the lack of autopilot indication. I use P3D4.5HF1. I have noticed that if I open P3D system menu (for example to change the anti-aliasing in the graphics settings) then quite definitely the autopilot undication will not work. If the simulator menu is not called, the autopilot lights works without problems. In P3D, I use the default aircraft - F22, for Falcon50 it helped to solve a similar problem with the lack of autopilot indication, but with Lear35 I help only refusal to use the simulator menu.

 

I found that on my system it makes a difference which a/c I use as my default flight. I tried a number of different default a/c ( including the F22, F-35, Alabeo Extra 300s, AC11 Commander 114, Piper Cub, Baron58, etc. ) and found that the F-35 was the only one that seemed to 'work' every time. Which default a/c works best may be system dependent, so it seems to be worth trying different default a/c to see what works best on your particular system.

I have NEVER found a reliable setup to get the lights working every time I fly the Lear or the Falcon. It is VERY frustrating! Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. As default aircraft I've tried the F22, F35, Commander, but it doesn't seem to make a difference for me...they just don't work about half the time I load either the Lear or Falcon.

Try the "reload aircraft" command - you will have to assign it to a key in P3D options.

Works 90% of the time on my configuration...

I appreciate the suggestion, and I have tried this but it has failed to do anything other than reload the aircraft with exactly the same problems as before reload.
