I suppose this is a stormy sky. Aren't these cumulonimbus? Resulting in a gloomy scenery?

The shot has been taken with a wide angle zoom to fit the volcano in. Consider; The diameter of the circular area is 20km, and altogether the photo spans at least 50km. Also, when taken presumably from a low altitude, the clouds (cumulus mediocris?) and everything is stretched and colours look too pronounced

Fantastic thread btw and incredible work from Shack95!

I found this nice comparison montage on Reddit:

As the author of this post states, it's a comparison between: Real life, Google Earth, MSFS, Xplane-11 and FSX.

I was intrigued by that white dot alongside the river. Now I realize it's coming from the airport he's planning to land. From real experience I know that the rotating beacon should not be so visible at daylight. This was a mistake I spotted from the leak aswell, hope this can be solved and match the rest of the light quality.

Well I thought it was an overlay (sci-fi) cue just like the blue threshold markings I spotted (unless my eyes were showing me things) to tell you were to touch down.

You know maybe just like the legendary red rectangles that used to teach users to follow the slope on final...

My guess is that those blue markings were only visible on the landing challenge, maybe to measure the accuracy.

Yeah maybe they are and I thought this dot is one of those helpers to tell beginners where to go maybe, who knows. Maybe an ATC cue. Just guessing of course...

I've seen the dot a lot, it's from the menu that pops up. Along with the marker on top of the screen. You can see it popping up on some of the videos.

It isn’t actually, it’s just a cursor (I should have waited until it disappeared but I’m an amateur :().

The first thing that came to my mind was, maybe an indicator of mouse controlled flight.
