May 29, 20206 yr From the first shots they showed of Sydney, they have now placed the opera house and the bridge. Unfortunately the bridge doesn't look like the original, which is just as iconic as the opera house, but let's hope they fix that before release. I feel sure these will be high detailed specialized assets in the release version of the game. Much like other famous landmarks in the worlds cities. Nothing to worry about. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

The bridge looks to me like an automatically placed or generated when the roads segment is over water. I think it's data driven and not custom made. I could be wrong though. ________________________________LEBOR SIMULATIONSScenery for Flight Simulators since 1998

It seems they have finally solved the „bridge problem“. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

Yes, also the downtown buildings look generic (footprint data based I suppose)... Yet I think they look really good in comparison to the plain footprint based infrastructure in the other sim. ________________________________LEBOR SIMULATIONSScenery for Flight Simulators since 1998
May 29, 20206 yr I took another look at the Sydney screenshot and I think they implemented vector roads: The arrows in red seem like vector roads vs the arrows in green that are obviously the aerial photo roads... In addition, it is very strange this non-marginal propensity that Microsoft has of planting entire forests in the city centers ... 🤔

May 31, 20206 yr the issue with trees is probably the source data, it might not include things like height or tree type. they would probably have to go in and edit each region Edited May 31, 20206 yr by Tuskin38

Just adjust the view in google maps and copy the webadress that gives you as a link. The pan and tilt values are saved.
