You don't know yet as it`s not been mentioned ATC have they dropped that as well, if fact they avoided that answer when asked.

Avoided , maybe, but the youtubers that were there found it, with a button for download data. So it's probably just not done yet

We have to look at this as a modular segmental approach… MS is very committed to this long term. Numerous addons will follow in due time after release. We have so much to look forward to!!

It's different for Laminar. While some people would like to see seasons in X-Plane, it's never included them.  So if, for the sake of argument, X-Plane 12 came out and there still weren't seasons - you know, Laminar says something like "we want to do it a better way and we're still trying to perfect it" - those people might be disappointed, but it wouldn't feel like the product had taken a step back.

A good point. Asobo and MS want to stay in the legagy of the FS franchise. So do we. We don't want a sexier XP but a better FS built on the foundation of the franchise. And that means seasons and ATC off the box.

Sure, I get it they are a French developer, hence the saying…  but in this case, and what I have seen thus far, I choose to support my post.

gee, we had four seasons in MS Flight and it worked really well. Just saying.

Flight didn't have photoreal sceneries and had limited scenery areas. Would need a huge ammount of work to redo the photoimagery for whole world (or at least the areas the seasons change remarkably) 3 or 4 times, to depict those changes in the old way/technique (using different textures for each season). They will have to implement it in a different way (like a lot of people already said, using shaders would have nice results).
