Blurries still there :(

Featured Replies

So the "night and day" blurries fix is only partially working and we can forget about the dx10 preview paintings too :-fume How many times are we going to get hoodwinked? No Aces this is not funny.

If I may respectfully suggest Wingnut, I think you might have been demonstrating a modicum of naievety in expecting FSX with DX10 to like like the published artists' impressions. In general artists' impressions are just that . . artists' impressions and the finished product invariably fails to reach such lofty heights.

Huh? Whats so naieve about expecting the preview to look like the real thing? If you see a movie trailer of Mission Impossible, do you expect it will turn out like Hoodwinked?

All this because someone said they used the final release version and it had blurries? Wow. Also, since Brian from Aces is wrong about FS and obviously has no idea about it, maybe the dev team should stop posting misinformation on the forums. Shame on them. Seriously, let's wait until October and the actual release is in our hands before pushing the complaint button. FS9 was considered a poor performer until people were able to tweak it or upgrade their systems, it may be the same with FSX. Also consider the version used could have been a beta version not the final release, it's a possibility the MS presentor got it wrong or even the OP. If not, I'm sure the hardcore tweakers will have optimal settings ready within a month.Ian.

why do people always fall for marketing hype? You are surprised framerates and blurries arent perfect on anything but extremely high end machines?

When they stop making flight sims will you guys be happy then? Every time a New Flight Sim comes along the Doom and Gloom gang comes out in Force. The ground is not perfect its to green, They missed placed a gauge by .00999000 inches in the P-51, The sky is to blue, the sky is not blue enough. On and on some of you go whats even worse is when you start and we don't even have the finished product yet. If you dont like Flight Sims go do something else. This is how the same crowd did with FS9 and Combat Flight Simulator 3. Now we may never see another Combat Flight Sim. Some day we may never see another Flight Sim period. Its one thing to complain if you get a bug infested release thats never fixed. To go on and on about something thats not even hit the store selfs yet is another. Sorry for the rant.:(

Man with all due Respect some of you guys are nuts some times! Relax wait in till fsx is out and installed in your system then judge it. But remember that this flightsim is a very complicated program and also the fact that we all have so many different types of hardware running. And computers are not perfect I'm glade there are some improvements that were made to fsx but dont expect anything huge as that will take time.

Oh, what do you know Brian? This guys' 10 minutes of experience are obviously much more accurate than yours. Nevermind that you actually develop FS.So, if one guy says something like "The blurries are still there! Oh noes!", people freak out. We know next to nothing about how this demo was setup, or what this person's definition of the blurries is. And if the MS guy was supposedly suprised by it, then wouldn't it be safe to say that this was a one-time deal? Finally, if someone from ACES comes in and says, "Really, this has been dealt with.", no one seems to belive it. Lets all review what was ACTUALLY said regarding blurries.http://blogs.technet.com/p-12c_pilot/archi.../20/448111.aspxThey never purported to fix EVERY SINGLE BLURRY. It's still going to be somewhat dependent on sliders and a person's individual hardware.

FxF3Don't be sorry (rant). it needs to be said. We wait 25 years for MS/Aces to actually try and communicate, and then they get chopped up like onions when they get here. I wonder how long that is going to last. These guys deserve some respect, if you want to keep them around !Bob (Lecanto, Fl)

I think Aces should hold off on the release of FSX for another six months and work on the important issues people on these forums have been talking about. Such as the blurries and more importantly ATC. I think if those two factors we're improved majority of the big complainers would stop.

ACES has said they've dealt with the majority of the blurries. You're willing to throw that out the window because one person gets on and says he saw some blurries at a demo session? As for ATC, it would take much longer than 6 months to get all the stuff in there that people want. And even then, it still wouldn't be 100% perfect. Even RC4 isn't perfect, and you're paying $40 JUST for ATC.

I think the complainers (or more accurately pre-complainers) should just make good on their threats and stay away from this release .That would also stop the complaining. :-beerchughttp://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg
