November 17, 20196 yr I can do a basic search within Windows Maps, but of course, based on that search, the city I'm interested in is non-3D at this stage. November 18, 20196 yr This is a list of 3d photogrammetry cities from Earth View. So far all the photogrammetry cities we've seen in the MSFS are 3d in Earth View as well, so I guess it's safe to assume that all the cities on the list have photogrammetry in the sim. They said they have 400+ photogrammetric cities (460 if I remember correctly). On the list in Earth View there are only 228. Hamburg and Marseille for instance are 3d but not on the list in Earth View (I added them here), so the list is incomplete. Now we just gotta find those missing 200 cities, that's gonna be quite a job 🙂

It is in no way a list of what MSFS will have to offer.
November 18, 20196 yr Shack95 it's an impressive list you've made,.I Live in Denmark and there are other cities besides Copenhagen that has a birds eye view. But in some of them only parts of the city has it while other parts don't, so that will be exciting to see how they handle that. About the 200 missing cities, yes, I‘d love to know about those as well. Probably some smaller ones. Or they counted municipalities, hence the larger number. Edit: I've just found another city that's not on the list: Cape Coral, FL, USA. Initially I thought it was Fort Meyers. It's now updated on the list above. November 18, 20196 yr Maybe there are other "techniques" that can be implementet to deliver the rest with 3D like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiBZP1VL0sY Regards, Marcus P.

In the maps app they list all the 3d cities and Marseille and Hamburg are there: 2 hours ago, mpo910 said: Maybe there are other "techniques" that can be implementet to deliver the rest with 3D like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiBZP1VL0sY This is still photogrammetry, just made by another company. Also, the 3D cities on Bing is a work in progress feature, and they already stated that when new cities are added to the service, the sim will get those updates automatically. Having other sources of photogrammetry with different cities/areas available is good because we may see (depending on the costs of course) 3rd parties using those sources to bring new sceneries to the sim.
