To choose the release date is a most important matter. Lionel's birthday is indeed a very auspicious date but I would rather lean toward the celebration of the 100th anniversary of an aviation event. 1920 was a great year for aviation with so many glorious feats. After some research, I propose one which happened on May 26th, two days before Lionel's birthday. On that day, in Madrid, Alfred Fronval, a French pioneer, did 962 consecutive loops in 3 hours and 52 minutes. That deserves some celebration.

Didn't previous iterations of flight simulator come out in May/June-ish?  For some reason I remember that being the case.  Who knows, if they're keeping with tradition, maybe we can spend the summer flying around the world.
