Version 1.0 worked fine for me, but not 2.0. As soon as I press Activate, it just disappears.

I did not face this issue. Can you please confirm Pushback Helper says connected?

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your great and amazing work.

It is working for me and it shows connected after a short while from launching the app. However, it is very difficult to read the status of connection if you are sitting on a couch and viewing it on a wall mounted TV. If you could change the color of the font it would be much better to see.

One question, how do I close the app after finishing a pushback ?

Thank you again for your amazing work.

Thank you for your feedback. Connected text is not so clear for sure but app is trying to connect automatically every 10 seconds until it is connected. So you just need to wait for 10 seconds. There are bugs and things to be improved for sure but takes time.

If you want to close, you have to right click the app in the start menu and select Close Window from the menu at the moment.

No problem. I like the interface, very simple and very useful in small airports.

MSFS 2020 is full of bugs and we have to wait for updates and patches.

Take your time, and I am sure the sim community will support you.

Thanks again for this handy app.

Ok, if I wait the 10 secs until it says 'connected' it works. Guess I have to be more patient 🙂

But I do miss the option to close the app. I dont want it on screen during the whole flight and going to the start menu  etc ... is not very user friendly. The possibility to move the app would be nice also. I like the looks of v2 but prefer the functionality of v1

Thank you for this mod. I have just downloaded and tested it, and so far it works very well.

I do have one problem though, I am not able to move the interface on the screen.

I use dual monitors, but only have FS running on one monitor, and I use the second monitor to run external nav programs, the atc window, and stuff like that. I have Pushback Helper running and working on this second monitor. But like I said, it is currently in the middle of the screen and I would like to move it down to one corner. Not a big issue right now, but still, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Please use Shift + Windows + Left or Right Arrow keys to move any application to different monitors.

Yes, I have tried that, but seems not to be working for me.

I'm thinking it may be due to how my dual monitors may be set up, and nothing to do with Pushback Helper.

Like I said, not a biggie, as we really only need it open for a relative short period.

Thanks again.

You can checkout my application for managing push back outside of the MSFS. It uses SimConnect to communicate with the sim and manages push back without using radio communication.

Pushback Helper

That's exactly what we need! A simple utitly, not this word not allowed that addon developers try to sell you. I mean, this ain't rocket science in the sim: push plane back, go right go left. Done. Thank you very much. I'll be on my way now.

There is FS2Crew Pushback Express, but eur 25 for what it offers is ridiculous.

Forget about this, IMO it doesn't worth the money. Hopefully FSDT will implement GSX for MSFS sooner than later and we'll able to have a professional application to handle all ground operations, not only pushback. Hope also FSDT is able to implement the long-time requested feature of towing your aircraft from one place to another in the airport.

Cheers, Ed

Awesome, works perfect and the connection status text is very clear.

Thank you so much for this and I wish you the best of luck in your life and future projects.

Works great now - thank you very much
