I have found it is best to uninstall/delete before re-installing/replacing, especially when things do not seem to be working.

I did it (as I posted) with the installers, but not when copying the file. Lesson learned, obviously Windows just can't be trusted! Not even in a protected location!....

LinkVor = false

VC DME tracks tuned VOR regardless GPS status

Good to know but requires you have an HSI and have LinkHSI = true for GPS guidance. If your a/c only has VOR receivers (no HSI), I would expect you need to leave LinkVor = true.

May I say that I too have had a few occasions since 1.9 when the GP failed to effect the aircraft and I had to disconnect the AP and descend manually.  I didn't notice or keep any details, so this isn't much help.  I think (not certain) that this has happened both with GPS and ILS GPs using the same standard techniques that I've long been using without problems.

I'll pay more attention in future.  Thought it was some hiccup with the AD software or I'd done something silly that I didn't stop and look for.

All Falcon50 users should get the latest Falcon_50.cab file (update AP code) that FSW posted above on Mediafire at

See the FSW post above for instructions.

Or you can wait until the next update, ver 1.9C I would guess.

Hi All!

I installed version 1.9B and latest updated Falcon_50.CAB

I fly several different flights to ULLI and UUEE, with using autopilot - ILS on different RWs and using different STAR approaches. RXP GTN 750 is installed.

Autopilot usage patterns: GPS NAV -> HDG -> NAV -> APR.

All landing, the autopilot worked perfectly. I didn't notice any problems. Maintaining the glide path angle is excellent.

Yes, I think that will be the case until the beta testing is over.

I Tested 3 ILS approaches and all worked - YEA!

KFMY - P3D stock airport: ILS 05 - worked perfectly

KTPA - FlyTampa addon: ILS 01L - worked perfecty

KTOL - Shez Ansari freeware: ILS 25 - worked perfectly, even though the AP had to fight a gusting crosswind.

 

Mark and AL thanks for the great work! With PBR and dynamic lighting the Falcon is a beauty to behold.

With LinkVor = false in the RXP GTN do GPS LPV approaches still work for you -- is the GP (Glide Path) captured?

Yes Al,  GPS LPV approaches work fine and the GP is properly captured

When you have time, try the LPV test with LinkVor = false again but make sure you have a VOR frequency, like 117.0, in both Nav1 and Nav2.  I find the LPV will not capture the LPV glide path with VOR frequencies in Nav1 and Nav2 if LinVor = false. This is with using the latest AP code from the Mediafire link that FSW provided above.
