January 22, 20206 yr I can certainly understand the desire to help during the testing process. After all, that is why I am a beta tester for Raul (Simbol) and Gary Summons (UK2000). January 22, 20206 yr If you are looking to replace your current simulators with Microsoft Flight Simulator right now, the Tech Alpha initiative is not a good way. Not only will the software be unstable and feature-incomplete as mentioned, but you will also have to be an alpha tester. This means reporting bugs to Asobo, along with steps on how to reproduce them. And according to the Feedback Snapshot V1, there might be testers who can't even launch the game or can't play it with the joysticks and gear they own. In such cases, prepare to supply Asobo with diagnostics and other data. Of course I'm only making assumptions on all this, but this is how alpha tests usually work, and it might make you feel better about not being a tester right now. I think it would be a good compromise to open up the Tech Alpha forum to anyone who has signed up for the Insider Program. I have a very old system so I'm not expecting to get invited at all (and if I do, I'm prepared for the case where it might not even start up), so it'd be nice to be able to look at all the discussion going on and peek into actual active development.
January 22, 20206 yr Moderator If it will assuage anyone's feelings, I was among the very first to receive my invitation for TA1 several months ago. Unfortunately I've never even managed to get the so-called Xbox Insider Hub to download and install, which is Step 1 to accomplish... So, I've never even seen TA1 myself! Talk about frustrating... Have you contacted support about this? Other members in here did so regarding the simulator not showing up in the hub, and got rather quick responses. They might direct you to a special download link or something.

January 22, 20206 yr Windows 10 Enterprise comes with all the features that are available with Windows 10 Professional and many more. It is targeted at medium and large businesses. It can only be distributed via Microsoft's Volume Licensing Program and requires a base installation of Windows 10 Pro Edited January 22, 20206 yr by Wobbie Robin "Onward & Upward" ... January 22, 20206 yr Windows 10 Enterprise is NOT a requirement at all!! It is targeted at medium and large businesses. It can only be distributed via Microsoft’s Volume Licensing Program and requires a base installation of Windows 10 Pro. Enterprise offers several additional value-added features. One important feature is DirectAccess, which permits remote users to access internal networks over a VPN-like system that establishes a bidirectional Internet connection. Enterprise also includes AppLocker, which permits administrators to restrict app access on mobile devices. This feature is particularly useful for companies with regards to meeting their device management and IT infrastructure management requirements. There are a couple of other enhanced management features aimed at helping management and deployment. While Managed User Experience permits you to manage all aspects related to connection settings for user accounts, Microsoft Application Virtualization manages functionality related to app virtualization and streaming. Microsoft User Environment Virtualization-related capability supports the migration of virtual devices using the existing OS settings. It's for medium to large businesses, not for us simmers/gamers/home users at all. LOL.. Nice try! Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...
