Why do you say that?

Only joking, don't need 5GHz (I hope)

I'm still waiting my email, Microsoft!

well I'm a pilot and I have a 5.3ghz cpu and I signed up right at the start and I'm not in and I've given up on hoping to get in.😒

That's devastating...

I think now we are a lot of people to choose from, a lottery to be fair.

At this point, getting an invite looks like a fairytale to me. I am hopeful though.

Remember that even if you meet the "requirements" to get an invite (and so far it seems that the only one right now is having 32GB RAM, except for some rare cases), they can't invite everyone in at once. They don't want to overload the infrastructures from the get-go, and too many testers would result in too many and definitely lots of duplicate bug reports. If they have managed to work more on optimisation, then they can start inviting more people with lower RAM amounts, and avoid an excess amount of reports about performance issues that would distract them from the real issues.

It is the first day of Alpha invites so far, and it's far from over yet. We've got the rest of the week left (and there's a chance they could send most of them in the last day like they did with the initial Tech Alpha 1 wave), and this is only the first Alpha wave. As they manage to optimise the infrastructures and fix the most outstanding bugs, it should be a lot more easy to heavily ramp up on the amount of testers.

Can you please take your common sense and rational thought elsewhere.. This place is for panicking and wallowing in self pity for our 16gb ram only 😉

Nope. Now it's turn for +5.0GHz CPU.

So, you are just running at half power then?....🤪

here we go again... another agony,... at the end of the week it's all but disappointments and failed hopes.

It's Martin Luther King day in the US so maybe we won't get anything today since they were talking about sending out these invites at PST time last week.

Then again I did say the latest development update won't include any mention of sleeping bears and they proved me wrong.

Just wait until the last day, wasn't that the day in which most received their invites anyway? 😛

I guess this is what leprosy feels like, just with all my fingers and toes.

Guys, when you watch a teaser, DO NOT INHALE ! You all show a withdrawal symptom.
