Can we please have a FS9 forum.

Yeah I am way to involved in FS9 to worry about FSX. It is to early for me to be involved. I will get it when there are more than default Aircraft and Airports. I vote for a FS9 forum.

I agree, FS9 is alive, doing well, tweaked to perfection and will not be replaced on my system for long time. I still am interested in purchasing more add-ons for it and exchanging info without having to sort through all the

Its really kinda funny. Forums for Tinmouse?,approach charts, space sims,New Zealand scenery!! But one for the flight sim version thats on more computers in the entire world and just about every banner on this site is trying to sell you something to add to it? NO WAY!How about a dedicated forum for, "Snack foods while flying".Just not for FS9.BTW- Its all good, not angry or flaming Avsim. Its his website and he can do with it what he wants.

What peeves me about the Top Brass point blank refusing, even a temp, Fs9 Forum is the fact that there are a few Forums on Avsim that are hardly used: one only has one Post and that was back on 9th March 2005. So I can't think why a Fs9 Forum is a 'no can do'!Ken

I'd like to support this idea too. Would just make things cleaner and easier for all.Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAMD64-3400,1GB/3200DDRAM,WinXP(SP2),DirectX9.0c,Geforce6800(128MB)(Det.84.21), CH Yoke/Pedals

How about three forums - FS9, FSX, and a "Rant" forum. I'd rather see more 'tactical' problem-solving posts in the main forums than "FSX is great" or "FSX is horrible". Those are interesting too, but it's kinda "read one, read them all".

Count my vote for a FS9 forum too. Thanks!

It wouldn't even have to be a FS9 forum, how about one just for prior versions of MSFS before FSX. We could live with that.

I'm also going to put in my vote again for a separate FS9 forum. The performance of FSX is so poor that I'm going to be doing 90% of my flying with FS9 for a long, long time to come.Doug

There used to be a seperate FSX forum, but some mod decided that it needed to be merged with this one, which was a big mistake IMHO. Well anyway, since it's apparently policy that all versions be discussed in this forum (it's the general forum), don't expect the FSX forum to return anytime soon.

I vote for a separate FS 9 forum as well, if other major flight sim sites can do it, why not Avsim?ricardo

I think we should have a dedicated forum for previous versions of MSFS i.e. FS2004 and backwards! I purchased FSX yesterday, but I'm not entirely happy with the Demo V2. It uses too much system resources, even with autogen OFF! FSX is still sitting in its shrink-wrapped box, until I'm satisfied with the Demo's performance. If not, I'll sell it on Ebay for 80% of the original cost :-lolI'm currently happy with FS2002, due to good fps and abundant addons e.g. FlyTampa, UK2000, PSS etc :)-------------------------------------------Delusion:1. an act or instance of deluding.2. the state of being deluded.3. a false belief or opinion: delusions of grandeur.4. Psychiatry. a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact e.g. DX10 will magically fix FSX performance issues on the average PC :-lol .
