In case you failed to notice, this is NOT the "MSFS" forum. It is the "Hangar Chat" forum where with only a few restrictions*, any topic not falling into any of the other forums is permissible!

This unique forum was created many years ago as a place where members are allowed to pass the time as if they were sitting in a hangar on a rainy day, waiting for the weather to clear so they could go flying. As such discussions could conceivably encompass even humorous banter as well as serious discussions on nearly any subject.

* religion, politics and pornography being the chief forbidden topics

Without them, Avsim used to be the preferred goto forum. Now we have pages of irreverentcy within flight simulation forums, never seen before, as well as the largest range of new addons. It is obvious that, apart from MSFS forums, support has gone elsewhere.. 

Sorry to interrupt a non sim carbon footprint chat in a sim forum, obviously these types of postings have been approved by the moderators. It seems that times have really changed.

Robin,  This topic has been "reported" to death and is in the Hangar Chat forum which is open to more than just flight sim conversation.  As long as the subject matter is not about politics or religion or pornography, it can continue.  Just keep it civilized.

Maybe we can chat about how to create more support for Avsim and increase fund raising without spending so much time using internet servers and increasing our carbon footprint

 It has no base and is simply someone's random thought about global warming. Seriously? If you want to get wound up, think about the billions of barrels of petroleum used each day and the cow  farts we have to deal with.

You do realize that the decomposition of human waste byproducts, trash, sewage, and fire far exceeds. power production pollution don't you?
