Any ideas from alpha testers on FS2020’s PC Requirements?

Fine Xbox One, in that case you can darn near run the software on a Raspberry Pi  4.

But, if you are planning a PC today for MSFS I would look hard at the Xbox X specifications and meet of exceed them for the best experience. You cab bet it will be a highlight game on that console which is why they have been advertising the heck out of it.

So Asobo own insider issue list about low FPS is OK, as they do not have high detailed big jets included yet and what settings on AI, we will have to wait till everything is included in the sim to judge performance when it goes retail. Will there be headroom for third party addons in terms of performance.

There will be plenty of headroom for 3rd party addons, MSFS actually uses the entire cpu and gpu and gives me much better performance than the current sims. And the detailed a320 didn't cost me any more fps than the GA planes.

Then why when they do preview vids of the upcoming XBOX Series X do they show MSFS included in the game pass catalogue.

Why do you think? I'm not having this argument again. The official information we have is it is coming to Xbox One.

A highlight game? A flight simulator is not a highlight game and if it was, the Xbox Series X is in trouble. Advertising the heck out of what?

Careful, on the interview they stated the "Xbox One family", not a specific model. But still, I don't see why it wouldn't run on the standard Xbox One, even if limited to 720p30 or something.

Of course, but in the previous post you stated that they would be the minimum requirements, and there's no way they're going to be that high.

Again, Microsoft has explicitly stated that for the next year or two all first party Xbox titles will be coming to both the current Xbox One as well as the new Series X. Not to mention if you check out Microsoft's Xbox site for the sim, it is quite clear about what platforms it is coming to.

Does anyone know if we will be able to connect an entire hotas on the new XBox? does it have all the USB ports for this (and eventually for track IR)?

Any game on the XB1 will also run on a XB1X, and as another user said, any Microsoft game released on the XB1X with in 12 months of the console's release will also be released on the standard XB1.

The new titles (GAMES) coming to XBOX Series X will not run on XBOX one it has not got the hardware. But XBOX Series X will run older games backward compatible, we will soon find out Microsoft are doing two event one in may and one in June about the upcoming GAMES this year.

Microsoft has said there will be no Series X exclusive 'Xbox Game Studios' published games for the first 12 months after the console's release. Everything they release on Series X will also be on the XB1. XBOXs are basically PCs these days, so they can probably configure per platforms graphic options.

https://www.theverge.com/2020/1/10/21060771/microsoft-xbox-series-x-exclusive-games-launch-backwards-compatibility

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-01-11-dont-expect-first-party-xbox-series-x-exclusives-for-a-couple-of-years

So if MSFS releases on XBOX after that 12 month window, then it probably won't be on the XB1.

Also why do you keep capitalizing games like that?

It does feel a little repetitive having to repeatedly repost this info.

If we're going to get into capitalization, Xbox doesn't need to be in all caps either. 🙃
