A take on HDR with TruSky enabled:

Featured Replies

I'll try that, but in last attempts, they would not stick. 1st adjustment (reduce brightness) - out the cockpit it would be as I expected, but if I change to outside view and return to cockpit, it's back to where it was(more brightness) in the beginning and if I go back to the lighting slider it's still where I moved it to

Here is my take if your interested. I'll give your a go too.

brightness 1.14, Bloom 0.88, saturation 0.22

Not sure why, but on my setup with HDR enabled the sim is overly bright and washed out. The colors especially on the ground look washed out. So I had to disable it. And in the cockpit with the instrument panel lighting on, it looks too glowy and its hard to read the information.

Do you use this slider? Saturation...Set at a 1.00 see what it look like.

Take a look to "ADAPTATION_RATE_SCALAR"

Increasing this value will shorten the transition time.

Thanks - will try.

Guys, if you have an HDR monitor on p3dv5 you can enjoy the sim with truecolor HDR now. For me it just works in window mode or fullscreen after activating hdr in windows display settings.

Cheers

you know, of course, those settings are relative to each individual monitor?
