I had trouble initially. I was trying to log straight in on the first dialog that appears. I was being too hasty, I had to click the link just below the password to register an account (counter intuitive wording I think given I thought I already had an account from v4) but the new dialog asked for key and order number and it accepted it ok. I was impressed that it worked given I had an upgraded key all the way back from 2016! Am sure they will sort it out for you, they are a great developer.

I was trying to create an account...and in that mask, it asks for your ASN 4.x  key and order number. It was that mask that didn't accept my key and order number...so I could not create an account. I have a TICKET in..and hope to hear back from them soon!

Same here. If I disable AS by renaming add-on.xml file, P3D starts without problems. If I enable the AS it always crashes on startup.

I only have ASN for FSX and ASN for P3D4 (that was unlocked with my upgrade key)  That was the key I tried to enter with the order number...but was rejected as 'invalid'...:(

ASP4 licensees may participate in the OPEN BETA, which is now available from our downloads page. Please download, install, run, and use the “New User? Register for an account!” link on the login page to create your ASP3D account using your ASP4 license key and order ID. See your reseller order history if you need to obtain license key and/or order ID information for your ASP4 purchase.

Maybe I’m wrong, it’s only for those who had an ASP4 license.

Be careful that you are not trying to use your original FSX/P3D key and that you are using the right order number.

I have exactly the same as you do but I entered the different key supplied with the update and it has been accepted, along with the order number from FsPilot shop, which is now defunct.

But why does it then say on the registration page that ASP3D, ASP4 AND AS16 licenses are accepted? Many customers will have upgraded from ASN to ASP4 and thus have a valid ASP license but activated with the upgrade key. With my ASN combination of vendor order number and serial I get the below error. No answer yet regarding my ticket.

That's odd.

My ASP4 uses "AS16" and the new ASP3D uses "AS" on my system.  Can't understand why yours is different.

I just tried a reinstall to verify, and ASP3D installed "AS" on my setup.

You are correct. I was misled by the file dates within the folders. I forgot that the date stamps on Navigraph files indicate when they compiled the nav data, not the time when it was downloaded. The current Navigraph installer is the one creating the AS16 folder, so the proper procedure is indeed to copy from AS16 to AS.

Yes...and thank you for your advice,  but the key I was entering was for P3D4.  It was the upgrade key that activated P3D4, and throughout all the updates.   It's working on my P3Dv4 ASN now on my system.   I expect that they will create something for me to use...as that is my P3D4 'proper' key that allows P3D4 to run.  The order number was for that upgrade key.  It's the only P3D4 key that I have...  Hopefully I'll hear back sometime today for a resolution .

How to you llik ASN for P3Dv5?  Does it work with TrueSky?

I'm bummed out!   I entered my ASNv4 Upgrade serial key number and order number from where I bought it...and the Create an Account mask, will not accept the order number and key, as it says it is invalid!!!!

I created a ticket with ASN..and hope they will issue me, something that WILL unlock the V5 Beta....:(

Has anybody else experienced a rejected order number associated with the generated key upon purchase?

ASN or AS16? ASN was the oldest version, then came AS16, and finally ASP4. I used an upgrade license from AS16 to ASP4 from Simmarket which worked for the new ASPD3. I don’t remember if there was an upgrade directly from ASN to ASP4, but if so, that license may be too old to qualify. Probably best to inquire at the Active Sky forum about that.
