July 2, 20205 yr Active Sky has been updated today. I tried two flights afterwards and at least, in my opinion, it's a little harder on the FPS than the last version. I could be wrong, so see if you feel the same. Haven't noticed much difference in clouds or the way weather is depicted. Stan

Stan I may be imagining things, but I made a minor change to P3D and AS today and it seems to help slightly. I lowered my cloud draw distance from 90 to 80, both in the sim and in AS. I think it might let the CPU breathe a hair more. Honestly, sitting in my Airbus at 35,000 feet, I can't really see the difference visually but I think it might help a bit. Haven’t quite tested with a full flight as of yet. noticed thou clouds did load faster immediately loading sim where as before it would take a a few seconds. just in response to stan about having a performance drop with fps. mike

I still have 4.5 on my computer, but not using it. Stan Edited July 3, 20205 yr by spilok
