First impressions are pretty good. It gives a good representation of actually flying through clouds. Tried CAT1 and CAT2 and darting in and out of the clouds was quite a good experience.

I have a 3440x1440 widescreen monitor and was getting around 25FPS so changed it to 2560x1080 and that bumped it up to around 45FPS flying the default Baron with ORBX Washington.

I am running a i9900K and GTX 2080ti

Looking forward to further iterations!

unless there is some other implementation detail?

they are drawn at a very specific point by a draw callback. (xplmmodern3d) that must be before AA?

open source, so feel free to see if there is a way around that.

From github, you have to compile and build it yourself. I can't see a distribution anywhere? Where did you find the compiled plugin?

I won't tell you unless you get back to the group

I have compiled it for linux also.

R you going to compile it on the Mac ?

Remember it's still WIP has bugs and performance issues.  But i am looking forward to it , hope more devs can help.

mac is going to run into issues.

firstly the metal graphics api has no support for the opengl bridge.

secondly mac opengl setup is different than linux and windows and no mac devs have contributed yet.
