Nope...no email.  MSFS doesn't love me.

 

Got several eMails from Microsoft Insider Program, but none pertaining to XBox or Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Perhaps they are sending this in waves, so make sure to keep checking. It will be interesting to see whether everyone will receive this. In my e-mail it says that I have received this message because I am part of the Insider Program, and its aim is to gather feedback to improve the simulator post-launch.

Honestly I'm a bit saddened by the tone used in so many of the critiques of the sim so far. It hasn't even been released to the public yet and the complaints won't stop coming! It's already miles ahead of anything we already have, and addons are going to make it even more incredible. I think any questions, comments, and suggestions should be given in a kind, affirming way that acknowledges the amount of effort the team has put into recognizing our desires for the sim and implementing them. I hope responses to this survey follow a similar note - be honest about what you want to change, but don't get down on the developers or sim.

I'm not an Alpha/Beta tester. In the survey you are asked whether you have pre-ordered the game and whether you have participated in the Alpha/Beta, so it's not exclusive to those.

I got the e-mail almost one hour ago, and someone else on Reddit seems to have received it at around the same time as well. Perhaps it's a very limited amount of users, or there will be more waves soon.

 

Nothing in my email, but then again I've been waiting so long for any contact from MS at all about that insider thing that I'm not convinced I'm even signed up for it properly. Certainly I've never had any test invites or anything else.

The current testers are already included in post release testing

MS are making changes to the XBOX game pass this month.

I know that feeling. Search for e-mails from [email protected] if you'd like to verify. Last one was on 30 July for the Steam pre-order.

Yes, they are changing the branding and just calling it Game Pass from now on. It might exit beta state on PC as well.

Could be two separate parallel tracks  - current testers will be testing post launch updates

The pandemonium relating to this game is over the top on this forum. 
it would be great if Avsim wipes it clean so we can start anew on August 18th.
