I have no space for a second monitor on my desk.

you could wall mount it above your current screen tilted down slightly for optimal viewing, just a thought.

Does Pilot2ATC take into account ai aircraft at all. What I mean is does it substitute itself for the stock ATC as far as non-player aircraft or does it integrate with the stock ATC? Or are you essentially flying alone with it?

I haven't checked lately, but Pilot2ATC does not affect AI aircraft.   You can have the stock ATC still going, if you want, or use chatter files with Pilot2ATC or have a browser going with LiveATC.net if you want that.

So yes, unless it's changed lately, Pilot2ATC is about YOU and your flight only.  I wouldn't really characterize it as "flying alone" because I have the stock ATC going and also chatter from LiveATC.net.

P2ATC shows AI aircraft but not Multiplayer Aircraft. ATC will have you wait to cross or takeoff for Landing taxiing or taking off aircraft, will notify you about traffic in the air, you can customize how far, what alittiude difference and so on. There are a few bugs with Traffic conflicts and some of it has to do with the the poor way MSFS makes traffic appear and disappear.

My biggest question for P2ATC would be its integration in a VR setup.  I like how I can essentially set the default ATC window like a tablet on the copilot seat or off to the left of the panel in a bigger plane and that the window stays perpendicular to my viewpoint.  How does P2ATC overly in VR?

Sorry if this has been answered before, but is this voice comms only, or can it be used by selecting text responses? I don't care to wear a headset most of the time, so voice activation is out for me.

Thanks.

With Pilot2ATC you never have to use your voice to activate commands. You never have to activate frequency changes your co-pilot will do that automatically. But if you choose to you can do both or either one of them whenever you like.
