You can download it at midnight your timezone from the MS Store, but if you bought it from Steam it will be available in your time zone an hour before midnight, Steam releases globally at midnight eastern time zone therefore you could get it an hour earlier from Steam Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

The times listed on the MS announcement are in UTC, and they generally equate to midnight local time in each time zone. Arizona does not observe daylight savings time, so not sure what will happen there. Arizona is in the Mountain time zone, and midnight local in the Mountain zone is normally 0600 UTC in summer, but in Arizona, midnight local is 0700 UTC all year. August 17, 20205 yr I’m starting to wonder what was the point of pre ordering. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight
August 17, 20205 yr I totally missed: "If you purchased the simulator via Steam, you will be able to download at 04:00 UTC ( August 18, 12:00am EST) universally across all countries." So, I'll be able to download it tomorrow morning at 06.00 AM CEST 🙂

Things are always rapidly changing therefore wait and see is always the best approach. So far Steam gets 1 strike against it if you live East of the Eastern Time Zone Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

August 17, 20205 yr Yeah. While I’m not mad. I still feel like I should have been able to at least pre download sooner since I took the initiative to pre order. But oh well. It will be a good night. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight
August 17, 20205 yr Author I guess my concern is that when it's released what are the steps I need to take to download the sim? I have my order number so what's the next step? Thanks

Thanks You can "install" the sim now... only the bare bones will download (about 1 GB). After midnight your time, you can choose to "play" the sim, and the big download will start. Bert
