I didn't move to Kiribati, and I didn't start downloading at 04:00 UTC. Started at 0:730 local time this morning, and an hour later I'm at 9.55GB. This is on a 100 MB/S internet connection.

I'm assuming the servers are under load...

I'm on a 200 connection but its really not that fast haha....  yeah it;; take me maybe 4 hours or so

Yeah, also downloading it as we speak and it's hilariously slow. Tried restarting the sim, even the initial load, which I assume also connects to the backend servers, is sloooow. 

Can definitely feel the servers are sweating somewhere 🙃

Mine just finished. On a 50 Mbps max connectiom it took 8.5 hours.

Steam purchase here, took me 2hrs to D/L - Standard version.

Took me about 3 hours on my 69Mbps connection via Steam, connected via ethernet rather than Wi-fi.

So after sitting here like a moron for 4 hours watching it download 30 Gigs, I switched to my 5G wifi connection and it's downloading 3 times faster. Duh...

are you sure you you're at 100MB (1GB) or is it really 100mb?

Im only asking because my friend also downloaded it this morning and he as a GB connection (100MB/s)...his downloaded completed in just a little over an hour.

Same here. Wish I would have thought of this earlier at 1am this morning.  I would have been done by now.
