August 19, 20205 yr For some reason I can't get the planes to trim properly. Am I missing a setting? I have trim adjusted to neutral, I'll be flying then the nose keeps sinking, I have to PULLLLL back to bring it back up, adjust the trim and it stays for a few minutes, then starts to dive again. Its just not stable. Any ideas?

MSFS 2020 Ive noticed when I have it properly trimmed and flying level, if I bank right or left, the entire plane starts wobbling and nose diving. Looking at the trim settings its already max out, and I just keep spinning the wheel, yet to do it all over again any time I turn the slightest.
August 20, 20205 yr There's a rotary dial on my TWCS throttle that I've assigned the elevator trim axis to. It's helped a lot. I know that doesn't answer your question though. FSX | DCS | X-Plane 11 | MSFS 2020 | IL2:BoX Favorite aircraft currently: MSFS Savage Cub
August 20, 20205 yr Is there any chance to have two controllers hooked up. I had this problem today with both a CH Yoke and Thrustmaster joystick both hooked up and they were conflicting. It may even be an assignment on a yoke and rudder or throttle conflicting. Mark CYYZ

August 20, 20205 yr you may need to adjust throttlepower. sofar i have no prob flying kinda level, but the weather is important too, updrafts , downdrafts can happen.

It is perfectly normal to require some back pressure on the yoke/stick while turning due to the asymmetrical lift on the wings. Fr. And on the topic...maybe obvious but did you try adjusting trim with the mouse on the trim wheel in the plane versus on your hardware first? Like is it fully trimmed up and still sinking? Like others have said that sounds like a conflicting command issue if that is the case.

As far as I'm concerned he can post anything he likes (as can you). You can always just ignore anything you find not to you liking. If a post is truly out of line the mods will take care of it. I thought it may be that but I was flying at 400 kts in the 747, and full throttle in the cessna.

I have 2 throttle quadrants, one that hooks into the Flight Yolk via Serial cable, then another saitek throttle that plugs into the USB port on the saitek as well. I double checked I didn't have the same button assigned elsewhere which was my problem where the flight yolk wouldn't steer on the ground via auto rudder control. Additionally I have the BU0836 joystick controller that I've modified my saitek, so it just acts as the flight yolk controls only, all the buttons are assigned to the actual Saitek USB board. So essentially I am controlling the plane with the USB board, then adjusting the trim using the saitek USB board. Maybe this is the problem? Edited August 20, 20205 yr by PCFlightSQL
August 20, 20205 yr Yes, I think so. I would disconnect all but one and see how it works. You can set profiles....although I am not exactly sure how yet.....and this should allow only one controller at a time to work. Mark CYYZ
