September 19, 20205 yr Same here, but I got charged anyway. When I tried to get a refund, I was told that "Our refund policy limits the number of refunds for which customers are eligible within a year and you have already received the allowed number of refunds this year. Thanks for understanding." Jeff Hunter

I made sure my exe was not checked to run as administrator. No joy here. I've tried all the steps on the interwebz. I also just received an interesting email from Carenado (after I asked about the possibility to purchase direct from them). To paraphrase: MS has not given them permission to do that yet. So much for Community. So much for Community. Did you try the method below? It seems like it is a requirement, and it is what fixed it for me. Like so much stuff with this sim, MS/AS has jest left us to figure out basic stuff on our own. By basic, I mean things like how to start the darn sim. I don't have an XBox or a previous XBox account so starting the sim through the XBox app was incredible intuitive. Of course, when you are used to creating games strictly for gamers, you assume that everyone has an XBox account and is accustomed to starting all their games through that app. They need to remember that some of the biggest hardcore FS fans are over 60 years old, and they should make assumptions like that. December 11, 20205 yr Same here,I even have an XBOX account that is signed into. MS account is signed into also but cant but Carenado AC that I'm trying to purchase. Timothy Murphy
April 30, 20233 yr I had the same problem. When I ran MSFS as an administrator the purchase would hang up as pending. I updated my windows10 which was out of date. When I opened MSFS (without using "as an administrator") it solved the problem.
December 22, 20241 yr I recently bought and downloaded ENBR Bergan but when it came to decompressing the file it just entered a loop saying 'pending'. When I shut down MSFS it now hangs up and I have to use task manager to 'end task'. Have tried to rename community folder (to try to force a new empty one) but it won't let me. Anyone able to suggest something I might try!!
