It's all going to depend on what AMD can put in front of it. Spending 1500 euros on a GPU is madness...

Absolutely right, let's hope AMD can deliver something close to the Ryzens....

The madness will begin after next month if you think AMD are not going to put prices up you may be in for a shock. and limited supply will push prices higher like before, next year for me for a GPU.

Agreed.  It will be interesting to see how competition, availaiblity, COVID and the economic situation affect the price.  Could go either way or nowhere.  Then there's how MSFS and Prepar3D V5.1 evolve over the next 6 months+, and what combiniation of stuff is then best for each.

I think you're just speculating. We all are at this point. Let's just wait and see.

MSFS. Hardware: AMD 5600X @4.0Ghz, Corsair H100i RGB Pro XT AIO, MSI MPG B550i Gaming Edge WiFi mobo, RTX 3080ti 12GB FE GPU , G.Skill TridentZ Royal 32GB (2x16) DDR4-3600 RAM CL16, PNY XLR8 3030 1 TB SSD (OS + SIM), Crucial P5 1TB M.2 pcie-3 NVMe SSD (data) . Corsair SF750 80+ Platinum PSU, NZXT H200i Mini ITX Tower.  38" LG UltraGear  38GN950-B display. 4x QL120 fans

One things for sure ..... Whatever hardware we have will never be enough 😟

Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF - 24 Cores... Watercooling NZXT Kraken 240 RGB Black...MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK...Kingston Fury Beast RGB 128GB DDR5-5600...NVIDIA RTX 4090 24GB.

What ever the price users will moan then buy them just like before and will be out of stock in days.

Im at 32GB ram but i may up that too .

I'd put that at the bottom of your list. I'm barely getting over 50% use of my 32GB 3600 RAM. I'd expect most people not already running an 'Ideal' GPU would upgrade that if price is not an object.

In all but the worst locations, I'm getting a steady 30fps at 1080p, though it is using 95% of my card's capacity. (System specs in my signature).

OS:     Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU:  MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB]
SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

It's going to be really interesting to see how  Big Navi performs in comparison to the 3080 in FS. Might be some interesting bang-for-the-buck comparisons.

And a bit OT to this conversation, but also really wish for a rebirth of FS control hardware...bring back force feedback systems like the G940!

I got my first Windows based pc in over ten years just for FS2020.   It works perfectly smooth in almost all conditions at 4k/60p, ultra settings.   The only time I've noticed any fps slowdown was flying past downtown San Francisco.

Specs: I9-9900KF, 64GB ram, 1TB NVMe SSD, RTX 2080Ti 11GB
