August 25, 20205 yr Looking forward to devoting some time to watch this - probably sit down with a meal and a brew. August 25, 20205 yr On my way out the door, will have to watch later. Will be disappointed if Chock does not play a song at the beginning. John Cottreau Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
August 25, 20205 yr Chock. Me hearty. I watched this. I'm down the road in Macc - Were you ever in the Bears Head on Mill Street?
August 25, 20205 yr Thank you for taking the time to do this video Chock. I enjoyed it very much (loved the Intro). Your overview helped me to get a better overall understanding of this Sim and the layout of the UI. Thanks again Mike J

Yeah, very occasionally go out to Macclesfield. What's that big pub over the road from the Station that has gigs in a very sweaty back room? Been there plenty of times. Only bad thing is that the last train back from Mac to Stockport is about 11.30, so you have to miss the last ten mins of any bands to catch that, or get a load of you in a minibus. August 25, 20205 yr I know that pub Chock - as I stayed over the road in the hotel opposite or down the road a bit. I remember it because I was there in about 1988 opening a B & Q store in the area (I was a contractor doing stuff for an advertising/ event company) - and that night we went over that pub and saw a completely unknown band who blew me away - especially the guitaring of front man of the band. His name? one Mister Francis Dunnery - the band; It Bites. Many years later; I was their tour manager. Life is odd.
August 25, 20205 yr Strange times but a good job. Sometimes we'd kip in the cab to knick the per diems we'd been paid for hotels. Fond memories of long nights kipping in the cab of a Transit in a car park - somewhere - newspaper over the windscreen, interesting tobacco, and an early start. I think the guy from the comedy soap "Bread" opened the store next morning. Nice, real guy. None of this Celeb affectation you get these days. Blimey - Haven't thought about any of this stuff for years. Thanks for bringing it back. Miss-spent youth and all that. Edited August 25, 20205 yr by Will Fly For Cheese
August 25, 20205 yr Author Kipping in cars after playing a gig. Yup, been there, done that. Oooh the glamour. 🤣 Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

August 25, 20205 yr Yup. Wandering around Nutsford motorway services at 6 o'clock in the morning - desperate for hydration, a pasty and rizzla and looking at all the bread-heads in suits on their way somewhere and thinking; Hey, you got it wrong. But the headache is strong. . .and you doubt yourself. But Hey! "Hello Cleveland, Hello Cleveland!" Edited August 25, 20205 yr by Will Fly For Cheese
August 25, 20205 yr Ay up lads. The pub is called the Queens Head Hotel. I used to attend the Macclesfield & District bike meets there (and watch the MaccLads). I was the only one who had a bike! The rest just had long hair, and bike jackets - sigh! Nothing finer than watching a band, then round the corner for Steak Pudding, Chips & Gravy!
