Reminds me of a joke my mate used to say about the place: 'News reports coming in that Macclesfield has been completely razed to the ground in a massive fire, causing almost ten pound's worth of damage.' 🤣

This should be pinned in Tips and Tricks.

Cheers

Possibly because despite claims to the contrary by a certain a pair of brothers, it is where the aeroplane was invented, ninety-nine years before Orville and Wilbur managed to fly theirs. 🤣

Could be right, everyone in this country knows two aeroplanes; a Spitfire and a Concorde; at a push they might recognise a Lancaster.

I had many books on the Spit.

Liked & commented over on youtube. Nice overview tells me what I might expect as and when I upgrade my PC.

Video

Good video, just wish I had half your energy at 3/4 your age.

I find myself watching the video to see if I missed anything, maybe you should have been an actor, you've got a real "onscreen" and good pilot personality there.

That was cool, mainly the part about how the turbulence ain't right, and I was trying to figure out how to describe it. Your RC plane model demo was good. 😁

I'm a sailor (or used to be) so I think of it in terms of 2-dimensional ocean currents affecting the boat, but that's a better explanation.

Finally got to watch your video.  Awesome.  Most videos I’ve seen about MSFS 2020 have been someone flying around showing how good the scenery and/or clouds are or what is missing in the sim.  You went over all the other stuff showing how to get to the point of flying a plane in MSFS2020 and how the ATC and flight planning works.  There was also a good version of Blinded by the Light.

Stopped after 20 seconds... any reason you make people sit through a static intro for that long?

Totally enjoyed your video Chock.  Thanks for posting.

I don't make people sit through anything. YouTube has this fantastic feature; it's called a FFWD button. 🙂

Flight Simulator review the length of a full-feature film.  I'm gonna have to watch this in chunks.
