Flight World War II | Full Sci-Fi Adventure Movie

Well..... there are probably a few ways to handle this!

For instance: As a light, free, cartoon-y, bit of low budget sci-fi froth regarding a plane and passengers in unusual circumstances....

Or

As an opportunity to sneer at the inaccuracies.

Or something else entirely!

In whatever case: Have at it, I guess!

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Was it somewhat cheesy? Absolutely. Nonetheless I did find it entertaining!

Thanks for sharing something I would never have even found myself, much less watched!

The German pilots were terrible shots though...

Hector hanging onto the nose gear was stretching my credulity nearly to the breaking point. 🙌

I had the same thoughts Bill. 🙂  They couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.. I was also thinking at one point he said they woere doing 400kts and shortly thereafter dropped the gear.

Funny thing, I expected the ending re Nigel.

As you said, cheesy but entertaining. I know they're getting paid to do it but I often wonder how some actors can keep a straigh face with some of those lines.

I suspected the elderly gentleman was going to become a prime surprise towards the end.

Of course the whole idea of removing the radar from the nosecone while in flight and powering it from a USB battery pack is completely ludicrous, but then the whole tale was pure fantasy.

I wonder why they didn't include the history books along with the radar, as that would -- as was clearly mentioned -- provide the Allies with critical information to help end the war more quickly.

The maneuvers of the Captain and his FO were entirely contrived as well.

Considering the number of bullets that did stitch the aircraft noisily not actually penetrating the thin aluminum (or composite?) into the interior and/or the fuel tanks was just silly.

It was a shame that two lovely ladies were sucked out of the plane after the explosion made the hole was a pity. It should have been the aggressive Alpha male who kept grabbing the young cabin attendant's arm. 😄

The very concept of time travel is filled with seeming paradoxes. They travelled to an alternate dimension where the history was skewed towards the Germans "winning" but when returned to their original time found the future changed as well. Hence the elderly Nigel completing his 'book.'

Only the Radar Fr. Bill?

In any case I much prefer "The Final Countdown" 1980 movie. At least in that one we could clearly see the Zero's in broad daylight.

Thank you.  I watched this movie on Saturday late morning.  To me, it was very enjoyable and held my attention throughout.  VERY Science Fiction, but most entertaining.  Great ending!

I remember once after our flight went through a ball lightning storm we got off the plane and a snappy dressed local was wandering through the lobby selling anti-gravity shoes.

I thought we had time traveled and paid a hundred dollars.  But they were just fake.😒
