Definitely.  Keep checking back hoping for news.  I'm having fun with the sim, but the crashes to desktop are a real issue.  Had a real nice flight this weekend end abruptly with a crash.

This sim is so close to being something amazing.  I really hope they put the post launch support into it.  However over the years I've learned to expect nothing.

I got crashes after installing some Ivao beta software. Ended up reinstalling. I hear more and more people speak about crashes, while my experience is that the sim is rock steady. It's been a little while now since launch, and maybe the escalating crashes can be somewhat attributed to the implementation of mods and tweaks.

This is egoistic, but as long as they don't fix the sensitivity issue, some of the planes or some scenery issues, I don't care, as my sim runs just fine. 🙂

Happy with MSFS 🙂

For folks with install issues, they are likely looking forward to this patch. For the rest of us who are wishing the weather worked and the flight models were tweaked or the auto pilot actually worked, not so much to look forward to yet.

The problem is that one is one too many, especially when an hour+ flight gets cut short.  I've learned about the joystick issue (plugging in a joystick during flight will often crash) but I still get them.

My sim has nothing installed on it either other than a handful of repaints.  I've resisted the urge to throw in FSUIPC and have even not made any tweaks yet.

I've got tons of patience with bugs that can be worked around and features that are missing so far, but crashing is a major issue.

For sensitivity issues I've been using JoystickCurves and apply a straight horizontal response curve, limiting the total deflection to 50% or less (depending on the controller and axis). Much less erratic than the built in sensitivity curve.

I'm looking forward to the patch so I can use SpadNext and attach all my panels again. 🙂

It's the patch mainly going to address Download, Install, and some CTD issues...?

Since I've had none of those issues not saying that this patch is really going to do anything for me anyway... thus not too excited about it.

maybe nothing you will see on a short term but if you think about , the more people playing , happy and flying will help you in the long run....

plus the more people will be posting omgud post and we get to revisit the last two weeks all over again the sooner these people are able to play/post 🙂

I hope they also fix live weather and traffic, but I guess that just that, hope.

I think that's well said, it's been out two weeks and nothing, if you can't even hot fix critical install issues it doesn't give me any confidence for the future. Basically from the looks of it it's going to take months if not years to fix or add things at this point. They will first make sure that you can install what they sell for revenue purposes but for issues I have a feeling it will take a back seat and probably will have a skeleton crew working on it.
