September 2, 20205 yr I'm most anticipating simconnect and wind fix for live weather (hopefully). But I have a feeling that patch may be delayed, because by now we would probably hear something already. Much less erratic than the built in sensitivity curve. Good idea, but they still need to fix that as there is something wrong with the modeling. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved

Na it's to pick up the devs from the dying sims such as x-plane and others that want to come work in the next gen of Flight sims remote work is the best type of work Edited September 2, 20205 yr by SirDan i7-8600k @ 3.70 GHz 16.0 GB Ram OS Win 10-64 bit Geforce GTX 1070

But yep - cannot wait for VATSIM!! Although that’s still going to come with its share of issues, particularly related to weather inaccuracy and taxiway name inaccuracy. But I am excited for the influx of traffic.
September 2, 20205 yr Author Simconnect is actually a big thing. People haven't been able to enjoy vatsim, pilotedge and a bunch of other stuff that are simconnect dependant since launch. Then you will have VOICE communication in MSFS 🙂 It will be interesting to see how the vatsim ATC (or pilotedge for that matter) will handle the somewhat lackluster Lnav and vnav functionality in all of the MSFS planes, and the non-functioning winds and strange baro settings (not to forget that most GA planes dont have a qnh/in toggle) 😄 Edited September 2, 20205 yr by Andreas Stangenes Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
September 2, 20205 yr I still dont get how come with the modern model of theirs, i do not need any rudder input to coordinate turns on any GA plane... MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28

But taxiway names are also going to be a challenge 😕

But taxiway names are also going to be a challenge 😕 Well, for people who have been flying on vatsim for years, I dont think any of this really matters. Non-functioning winds is just wind calm, meaning you can land in any direction, so it will not be adverse to your comfort to follow atc instructions. It's not like you are gonna have gale winds from that direction 😉 It's the newcomers that are gonna struggle the most. It will probably be a big barrier to entry until MSFS has sorted many of these things out (especially the autopilot things, like adding procedures, transitions etc flawlessly in the garmins. Right now its hit or miss whether it will stick or not, and you cant really do direct to any part of the procedure fixes. Cant you just imagine it now. Little Billy Pilot is trying vatsim for the first time. He has even read a little bit about it before logging in, and he has filed a flightplan. Already at Ground he gets stomped when he hears "qnh 1002" and looks at his baro settings in inches of mercury and not sure what to do. Of course, the solution is just to parrot back 1002, and press B to correctly set the pressure in your sim. September 2, 20205 yr Pretty sure the people on Vatsim are well aware of the current limitations of MSFS 2020 and the controllers over there , some are pretty on the ball and will adjust accordingly. My first 10 hours on vatsim was just doing pattern work in an Otter at LAX 🙂 Controllers are amazing on Vatsim Edited September 2, 20205 yr by SirDan i7-8600k @ 3.70 GHz 16.0 GB Ram OS Win 10-64 bit Geforce GTX 1070
