Well, as MSFS has got us all in to GA...

Interesting article in Flyer Magazine this month on Pierre Robin (who died this year) on his wonderful innovations and aircraft, two of which we have in the sim of course.

Flyer magazine is a UK based GA magazine that I used to get in paper form but it's now gone completely digital and is free to download and read at your leisure. I miss the paper version as it was essential lavatory reading material and one can't easily take a dump balancing a laptop on one's knees.

https://issuu.com/flyerdigital/docs/flyeroctober2020?utm_source=FLYER%2Bmagazine&utm_campaign=de2223773d-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_4_17_2020_10_42_COPY_09&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_96bfea8b9b-de2223773d-300533192

It also includes a review of our very own MSFS.

Enjoy.

iPad or iPhones are great substitutes when you need to visit the room....

Okay, I'll be the noob and ask - what does "GA" stand for? I'm going to guess "general aviation". Am I right?

Think I'll stick to Playboy or the latest Rockler woodworking magazine.

A quick glance at my "throne-side" reading material reveals; about a dozen past copies of 'Flyer', 'Pilot Magazine' and 'Light Aviation' (UK Light Aviation Authority mag), The Haines Spitfire Workshop Manual, The Armed Forces Pension Society (Pennant) magazine and a Pooley's Flight Shop catalogue.

Maybe I'm in to this whole flying thing a bit too much....after all if God wanted us to fly he'd have given us wings?

Naaah!

Doesn't reading either of those publications inevitably end up with some form of wood-working being performed?

Um....if you need to bring in reading material you might want to think about adding more fiber to your diet.

You need the 13” iPad Pro and a subscription to Readly.

https://gb.readly.com/

You can then also use it to replicate an authentic airline pilot experience by reading car and motorbike magazines and supping cups of while flying your MSFS 747 across the Atlantic

Obviously, then, you and Will-Fly-for-Cheese (who liked your post) are practically the only ones in this thread who add "more fiber" to their diets 😉 . lol
