That's in the realm of possibility, if there's a TTF available for it.  I'm sure the font is fully proprietary, but there might be an alternate implementation somewhere, otherwise we could eventually create one.   I know that @cwburnett and the gang have been looking into doing similar for the Proline.

@kaosfere Thanks for the mod in the first place, it's a nice improvement, I like that very much because the VOR indicators have been barely visible with the synthetic blabla.

What about improving the poor landing and taxi lights? In the systems.cfg there are two lines dealing with those parameters. Had no time for now to make some experiments myself. Maybe on the weekend.

lightdef.6 = Type:5#Index:0#LocalPosition:-2.12,-9.53,3.08#LocalRotation:0,0,0#EffectFile:LIGHT_ASOBO_Landing#Node:#PotentiometerIndex:1#EmMesh:LIGHT_ASOBO_Landing
lightdef.7 = Type:6#Index:0#LocalPosition:-2.12,-9.1,3.05#LocalRotation:0,0,0#EffectFile:LIGHT_ASOBO_Taxi#Node:#PotentiometerIndex:1#EmMesh:LIGHT_ASOBO_Taxi

Maybe the values for LocalRotation must be adjusted.

Nice work! Thank you!
Would be nice to change the font for the G1000. I don't know why, but the G1000 looks a little "cartoony" to me.
And there are some people working on mods for airplanes with G1000, such as the G36 and the C208B. Would be nice if they don't interfere with each other.
G36: https://github.com/TheFrett/msfs_g36_project
C208B: https://github.com/Dros0phila/C208-MSFS2020-Fix
Keep up the nice work. Do you have a donation link?

Yes its possible to change the font, here are some quick examples;

However the font you linked too is messed upfont-messed-up.png

Additionally there is a A1000.ttf font in the games files. A1000 is the internal name for the G1000 used by the game. But this font doesnt work in-game. Its just truetype outlines so that may be why. I'll have to try converting the font to see if it works, and if that fails I'll have to make a font.

Oh, and opentype fonts work just fine as well.

What is the official font used for the G1000 UI?

I suspect it's something completely proprietary.

I've had a little nose around in the G1000 trainer and I don't see any font files, either. 😄

I love you tech-guys with your fancy magic! I haven't gotten this mod yet because adjusting the light isn't that important to me, but the moment the mod improves route and ap functionality, I will be all over it 🙂

I'd love to turn off that map inlet on the PFD. 😛

Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AiO | Win 11

Baro shows 30.1IN instead 30.10IN. Everything else is fine with the newest update.

I thought this could be turned off already in the default. Isn't there an Inset contextual menu along the bottom? I could be misremembering...

Oof!   That should be an easy fix, I already did that for distance measurements.    Thanks for reporting that.  🙂

That switch isn't active?  I don't think I've ever tried it.  😄    I'll add it to The List.

I thought there was as well, I spent my whole lunch trying to get track-up working though so didn't check.  😄

I haven't found it in the TBM yet. Could be my mistake but i think theres no option to turn it off at the moment. It works in the XCub though.

Oh, yes, the TBM has the G3000, not the G1000. Different animal and different code. And I agree, it is missing on the G3000.

While the font size on the PFD for nearest airports is fine, it is really tiny for the flight plan. Any chance to scale that according to the font size of the NRST?

Maybe. I need to fix the kerning of the font first.
