I have a point release now that should be fully compatible with the new sim version. It also fixes a bug I found in the previous version with the help of @Steve Dra that made the avionics brightness knob in the Caravan not work. Now it does. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to test. Here you go! https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages/releases/download/g1000-v0.2.1/workingtitle-g1000-v0.2.1.zip Replace the existing directory with that and you should be good. Let me know if you run into any other unexpected issues. 😄 I have SP2 Installed with no previous version of the G1000 mod. Do I just extract the G1000 mod folder to my community folder? Thanks! MSFS

Actual ground color is hex 54350a and sky is 004cff a ways above the horizon. I don't know what you mean by greyscale though - did you mean to say gradient?

Thanks L3m0n, I trust your work better than mine! And yes, I was trying to say gradient, sorry. I'm not a native english speaker. lol Just found the a1000.ttf font inside the game files, and did the change inside Templates, but that made the G3000 font a little lighter, and I don't know why, so I'm not using. And thanks for the color hex codes, I'm gonna use them. Edited September 18, 20205 yr by Guilherme Farias
September 19, 20205 yr @kaosfere Thank you so much for the mod. I see the TBM930 is not in the SimObjects folder, are you planning on adding that as well? Regards, Rob Edited September 19, 20205 yr by HUSSAR \Robert Hamlich/
September 19, 20205 yr Just put it in the folder. Great Mod, thank you. Really like dimming the PFD and MFD. I see a place for synthetic vision but I do prefer it off. Question: I also thought that TRACK UP was implemented in the MFD but the notes didn't show that as a feature. Is that still a work in progress?

Right now the TBM isn't officially part of this, as we're focusing on the G1000 first. But we have definite plans to extend to the 3000. And my earlier mod for dimmable panels in the TBM still seems to work in this version. 13 hours ago, LarryD said: I also thought that TRACK UP was implemented in the MFD but the notes didn't show that as a feature. Anyway, thanks for your efforts, I'm so happy with your mod. Intel Core i7-11700F, mainboard MSI MPG B560I GAMING EDGE WIFI (MS-7D19), 32 GB DDR4 SDRAM, RTX3070, no OC for CPU, RAM or GPU, XMP off. September 19, 20205 yr Did I read somewhere there was a fix for how adding an approach was giving strange "user" waypoints?

It's funny, I'm right now running into a bug of a bug 😉 at 30.00 inch it shows 30IN, then also the decimal point is missing. On top of that - 30.01 inch shows as 30.01IN which is correct. It seems the 0 is missing when it is the second digit after the decimal point. We're taking care of so much I can't keep up. 😂 Edited September 20, 20205 yr by kaosfere
September 24, 20205 yr First up thanks to @kaosfere and the rest of the team for grabbing this tiger by the tail... Secondly a specific G-1000 question - is it possible to have no FP loaded, activate a "Direct To" destination and then select, activate and fly an approach procedure at the destination (assuming one exists)? If it is possible in the real G-1000 is this broken in FS2020? If it's not broken then what am I doing wrong? Thirdly a more generic G-1000 question. Does anyone know if a definitive list exists on the state of the G-1000 in FS2020 - what is implemented and works, implemented and broken and not implemented. TIA.

Definitive.. we are one month in and still trying to come to terms with the G1000... 😉 Edited September 24, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
