Is FSCaptain available for MSFS?

Not yet but I think they're working on it.

the  hardest  part is  managing  all  your  AI  pilots  and  assigning them jobs  in the  work  orders 🙂

I`m using a spreadsheet.. Lol I'm a virtual dispatcher in my free time..... It actually works great. I can plan a days flights for 10 a/c in NZ and go fly in Europe myself.

Hi Noel,

I am trying out OnAir for a few days now. It is not like FSCaptain at all. It focuses on the economic aspects, while FSCaptain focuses on the flying. FSCaptain monitors if the pilot follows procedures correctly, which I believe OnAir is only doing in a very superficial way. FSCaptain has an economic mode, but it doesn't enable you to run a company or hire employees. You could use both programs independently: OnAir for the business aspect, and FSCaptain for the proper flying.

OnAir has a trial period, so you could simply check it out. I personally found it extremely frustrating so far. There are a lot of unrealistic aspects that totally ruin my experience. Things like putting an airplane for rent at an airstrip with too short a runway for that type, or with insufficient fuel and no FBO available. Also, FSCaptain uses the airports that are in your sim, whereas OnAir, much like FSEconomy, uses a fixed set of airports. OnAir placed me once at an airport with too short a runway for my airplane, and which does not exist in P3D 4.5. FSEconomy handles such situations more gracefully. If the airport doesn't exist, you can just start at a nearby airport in your sim and you will be fine. And in FSCaptain, you are guaranteed that the airplane will be at an airport that exists in your sim and has a sufficiently long runway.

Peter

Thanks for that Peter.  I think I'm going to hold off til FSCaptain comes to MSFS.  The flying part is what matters most to me so I am going to keep me fingers crossed in the hopes MS/A opens up enough in the SDK to make FSCaptain practical for MSFS.  Plus, it's mostly tubeliners that I'm using for my company in FSC so hopefully about the time the quality tubes arrive the SDK will be robust enough for FSC.  For now I continue to use FSC in P3D 4.5 and use MSFS for local flights after the lovely NGXu has landed!

This looks interesting.

Are you able to use modded aircraft such as the G36 Bonanza Turbo?

Can someone tell me how?  Its not letting me use the G36 Bonanza Turbo because of the weight differences.

I wasn't able to get it working either.

I submitted a Zendesk ticket and they are looking into it.

Hi, Can you explain how this is done? I had the G36 Turbo in MSFS2020 but there was a conflict with OnAir. I can't remember the exact message but along the lines of, "plane is modified from original in flight sim." Thanks
