Saw some benchmarks, MSFS ultra in 8K about 20 fps.

Hi fidelity AC and AI traffic are going to tax your CPU hard and not effect your GPU at all!  Unless you’re interested in VR or 4K/8K Rez save your money and keep the 2080ti...!

that depends how it is implemented, most of MSFS code, not only the rendering tasks, runs on the GPU, actually some 70-80% of the total program, according to Asobo. keyword: GPGPU programming.

Somehow, I don’t see PMGD high fidelity AC physics having anything to do at all with your GPU!  Never had even on a DX12 platform!

I was not talking about PMDG, I doubt they are familiar with GPGPU programming, I  was referring to core Asobo's stuff only.

I sure hope so since my CPU seems to sleep while MSFS is running smoothly--I think we'll have ample headroom for PMDG stuff.
