Main cockpit view/camera keeps moving.

I realize this is an old thread, but now I'm having this issue since sim update 5 dropped today. The camera constantly pans up only while in the cockpit, nowhere else. Extremely irritating.

The difference with me vs the OP is I'm flying using only a wireless Xbox One controller (plugged in since my PC doesn't have bluetooth capability) and everything I try doesn't help. Somewhat humorously, when I plug in my other Xbox One controller the camera constantly pans down instead of up.

While I don't expect to find a solution here, I am wondering if there is a place we can report bugs like these to the devs. Thanks for any help!

I am also having the same issue

Fix is to go into Options/Controller settings and reset ALL the sensitivity settings for the XBox controller back to defaults, which will add the dead zones back in. Don't forget to scroll down to get the Y-axis for the right stick as well. It seems they reset them with no deadzone, so it's especially sensitive and causes drift with any movement of the stick, which includes subtle off center position even when you're not touching it.

I am now having the same problem in sim update 5 does anyone know how to fix.

Yes same here.

Frankly the update has not been a joyful event for me. It's taken 2 days to finally get the update to install without bailing out on decompressing files about every hour.

I have fairly old hardware (2014) but which had been working splendidly up to SU4 and to an extent after the Nordics update. After that it wasn't bad but I had lost my reverse thrust on my HOTAS Warthog throttle and never to get it back.

Now my frame rates are worse and I have this drifting POV issue plus frequent CTDs. Not a great experience given we have no choice in the matter. And so far I have seen no benefits as yet.

Thanks! I managed to solve this problem and set dead zone to 10%.

This was a issue I forgot to mention in my post. Camera slowly pans to the right and slight up over a minute or two since SU5. Extremely annoying.

Same issue here just update 7-31-21 the game is not playable anymore. This drives me crazy! I hate the mouse button changes as well

Make sure you guys are going into Control Settings > *Whatever Peripheral* > Sensitivity and resetting ALL of the settings. Some of them (gamepads come to mind) have additional settings that need to be reset by SCROLLING DOWN within the reset window ... this window is horrible/lazy UI by Microsoft because you don't even realize you're missing some of the settings.

I've got this problem now, I forget to plug in my Throttle quadrant and after I did AFTER opening the sim it went nuts, I reset all of  the sensitivity for the particular joystick/throttle no joy, I can't even move the camera at all with the mouse either, this renders the the sim completely unflyable.

Have you set the mouse back to default settings in the controls menu?
