So at 30 frames per second you get THREE extra frame? At 60 you get SIX frames.

At this point I'd still take the benchmarks with a grain of salt, but we're about to see the hardware sites flooded with benchmarks and reviews when the NDA falls in  2.5 hours more, at 15:00 central European time / 14:00 UK time, 9:00 EST

Linus just released a benchmark of FS2020 (sadly only for 1080p 😞 ) ironically the 5600 & 5800 x do better than the 5900x, I imagine this not to be the case in higher resolutions, why didn't he include these 😞

Because at 4k you're highly GPU bound, you can't get meaningful CPU test results in a GPU-limited scenario.

Cant find any 4K benchmarks on the major reviewing sites. Looks like MSFS has fallen out of favor.

They need to test FSX for cpu loading, not FS2020.

Not a huge difference, so it all comes down to AMD's GPUs. If the 6 series is faster than the 3090s, then best pair it with the 5900X.

So what are everyone's theories on the fact that FS2020 isn't really benefiting from Zen 3 new advancements compared to Intel when you consider that other games often see a 10% increase in FPS? Is it due to clock speed?
