Hi Andre,

Hit the CLR button first then the destination button. I had the same problem too. Seems they made a change in ver 0.4

I have to say I'm not a fan of the added sounds. I very much doubt that you can hear the flaps extend in the real cockpit, or that the gear movement is THAT loud.

Where's the page Forecast?

I have found that you actually can request clearance after manually loading a plan into the MCDU. ATC will also use the call sign you entered.

So is it better to load the flight plan on the world map screen or once you have loaded the plane into the sim? And does it matter if the plane is cold and dark or do the engines need to be on? I heard conflicting things of people running into problems with loading flight plans and want to know the best way to get them to properly load up into the MCDU.

It doesn't matter; air traffic control seems to treat you the same way. There was a bug where the airways page on the MCDU could fill up, making longer routes impossible to enter inside the aircraft. That limitation seems to be gone. I'm not sure if Asobo or the Fly By Wire team did it, but the airways page now clears between different waypoint entries.

The difficulty I always have is trying to put the arrival runway and approach in the MCDU in the A320. I can only even enter/change the runway about half the time, and the approach never seems to work quite right...

That, and the wonky way entering the route seems to work (the MCDU doesn't keep the order right or the route decides to go on vacation midway through the flight) are the two big showstoppers for me. Everything else actually seems to work pretty well. And I don't mean that as minimizing those issues, which are frankly massive -- just to say that it's not like tons of little things aren't working, just a couple big ones.

I agree that someone (Asobo of FBW) seem to have fixed the "airways page fills up" bug, so that was good!

Okay, i go test without sound mod. I will see for myself which is the best! 😉

The sound is great but low.
