But, I also wonder; how to load a ready flight plan(pfpx) on FMC ?

I don’t think PFPX has been updated to work with MSFS2020 yet? Also curious about this though.

I know it is possible if there is no fp loaded before the flight. What I would like to know: can I create/load the FP inside the preflight menue (e.g. the world map), fire up the sim and have an empty FMC?

I dont think so, When you plan flight on the world map, it is directly tranferred to the FMC. And , why would you like to do that ? If you plan , you want it to be on the FMC or if you do not plan, you want to load a pln (from PFPX or Simbrief or etc.) via FMC.

Do you have an idea about my question "But, I also wonder; how to load a ready flight plan(pfpx) on FMC ?" Thanks

PFPX is able to export pln, right now. You select FSX and select any folder of your choice. And there you go.

But, I am curious about A320 FMC load function ?

Oh great, thanks. I had not even reinstalled it yet since redoing my PC as I did not think it would work. When I checked their forum, it seemed like it was dead, most “current” topics on the board dating back a few years, with no recent activity.

But the question is  about A320 FMC load function ? You are able to select CO RTE but how to activate it as full FPL ?

Because of ATC? I am used to this, both PMDG and AS A32x do not automatically load the plan into the FMC in P3D. Advantage: while you have the rough plan inside the sim active and ATC can guide you, you are still free to load the plan manually in the plane (as in reality...) and put modifications in it (e.g. another SID if weather changes etc.). Or, you can have a "kind of FP" inside the sim active but use the simbrief plan manually. Tons of reasons 😉

Just curious to know is there a place to see what was changed, revised or added with each developer release?  They release them almost daily but I never know what they did with each release.  I know with the official stable release there is a change log but I wasn't sure about the dev release.  It would be nice to see what you are getting with the dev versions.

I have found that you actually can request clearance after manually loading a plan into the MCDU. ATC will also use the call sign you entered.

Either check their Discord, or on their github, check the "Actions" tab and then select the "Master" workflow -- this will show you what has been committed in the releases...

What is their discord page?  I’m not familiar with discord

The mod improves the default airbus a lot, but for me it is quite heavy on fps. I get around 20 fps only compared to the default airbus which runs at 30-35 fps under the same settings. Do others still experience the same ratio? - there are some posts pointing in that direction in the beginning of the thread.

Thanks, Martin

Does anyone know if they plan to fix the distance to the arrival in the flight plan?  For me, it never changes.  It always remains the same number from where I am taking off from.

I can't find any way to find remaining distance to the destination airport or to a waypoint on my flightplan. The MFD only shows distance to the next waypoint. Even the GPS in FSX showed this, but it's apparently not (yet?) available in MSFS. I was hoping the NavLog would at least show it, but that too remains static.

Same with me, was getting 46fps now with the mod it's 33 -35 fps
