Hi, when I load a PMDG 737 or say a FSLabs A320 and choose a medium size gate for a cold and dark start - the plane appears with no wheels deployed and the programme crashes. Any idea what I need to do to fix this issue?

I'd probably start by clearing out the shader cache folder.

Using EZDOK? If so, try to disable.

Are you sure the above mentioned aircraft are compatible with P3Dv5.1 yet? FSLabs surely is not.

The same problem was occuring in V5.0 - so i thought with a fresh install of V5.1 - my issue would disappear - unfortunately not

By "fresh" you mean that you not only reinstalled V5.1, but deleted all the generated files folders beforehand, right?  Otherwise it's not "fresh" at all--the previous configuration from v5 would be left behind in those folders.

 

I have the same problem with a CTD due to ucrtbase.dll (P3DV5.1) since yesterday. For now, only at EDDL (Justsim) and with the combination of Sode and AIG traffic. Disabling (deregister) Sode (generally) solves the problem, but, of course, all jetways are gone. Setting AI traffic to zero and Sode enabled - no problems...! Very frustrating, besides the other problems with P3D (clouds, water, EA, etc.). 

I also had this  ucrtbase.dll crash today at EIDW (MK-Studios)

I, and a other user, do have CTD when using the new P3D V5.1 Sim in combination with SODE Version 1.7.1 and AIGAIM.

I did not test it with TubeLiners but with Stock F22 and AIGAIM

It is reproduceable most likely at medium airports, but for sure at bigger hubs like EDDF, EDDL and bigger.

I started using P3D V5.1 with a Stock F22 with no issues at all. Not a single CTD. As I did turned on AIGAIM traffic sometimes the sim would CTD with the UCRTBase.dll error in my eventlog. I started further investigations to find the cause.

But strange was it CTD not every single time. I than found out that at bigger hubs the issue came for sure when using AIGAIM. At smaller and very small airports not for sure or not at all. First I thought it was AIGAIM and reported it on their forum. KAiii did mention their are no further CTD reports with P3D V5.1 related to AIGAIM. BUT 1 other user had the same issue as I did at EDDL.

How to reproduce:

Load the sim at a big hub. EDDF did work always for me

Turn on AIGAIM Traffic, as they use SODE jetways

Start a flight with a stock plane like F22 with traffic sliders turned off. Their MUST not be a CTD as NO traffic is active. I turned the AircraftTraffic.BGL off. So no stock AI at all.

Turn on all AI traffic sliders to 100%. Probably within the next 2 to 5 minutes a CTD occurs.

As the CTD only occurs at airports with AIGAIM traffic i decided to turn SODE Jetways off by deactivating it via the SODE menu and unregistered it to.

Now start P3D V5.1 again

100% AI traffic with AIGAIM

Wait a couple of minutes, taxi around, and no CTD at all.

Turn SODE on again...same scenario....CTD UCRTBase.dll.

So it seems most likely that there is a issues with SODE/GSX Jetways in combi with AIGAIM (I don´t own other AI traffic).

I would like to get some support and am happy to provide you with further information or tests. As an work around SODE stays off. But that is not my preferred way to use the sim.

Maybe you can change the topic title to P3D V5.1 CTD with SODE 1.7.1 Jetways? I replied here to and see what I found out with @LarsA

Not sure I could help, since you are reporting a crash on an non-FSDT airport that uses its own SODE jetways, is this correct ?

 

 

That's correct, especially in combination with AIG AI-traffic. That's the situation at the moment...!
