November 11, 200619 yr Yup! we're stuck waiting until mid 2007.System Specs:P4 3.0SB LiveATI Radeon X800 GTO (256)1 Gig DDR RAM
November 12, 200619 yr FSNavigator is the best and 1st add-on I ever use. I am also a bit disappointed why the delay of getting the new version. Is there another way to find out now all the ILS or VORs where they are with FSX as is? I mean I am flying over Europe and I want to land somewhere far a way and I would like to tune to the VOR there or find out the ILS of the airport I am going to land, How do I find these things? With FSNavigator it was so easy.Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 12, 200619 yr I too love FSNav but we've got to wait!In the meantime, you can use the files recently posted in the avsim file library and have them on your desktop so you can readily access from the game. Just unzip the pdf files. Search for Winfried Orthmann in the FSX section. He has produced them for Europe, Canada, USA and Africa (and perhaps others).

November 12, 200619 yr >Yup! we're stuck waiting until mid 2007.>>>System Specs:>P4 3.0>SB Live>ATI Radeon X800 GTO (256)>1 Gig DDR RAMHmmm, last I'd heard there wouldn't BE a new version. This is welcome news even if it IS a bit far down the road. I know I'll be waiting for it.:D
November 12, 200619 yr It is, indeed, true. There will be a complete rewrite for FSX. See the bottom of the page here: http://www.fsnavigator.com/ . I'm also missing what I think is the single best addon ever for any version of MSFS.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. November 12, 200619 yr If you still have FS9 on your machine then you can generate a flightplan and export it to FS9 as a .pln file. The file can then be copied to FSX as it uses the same format. You can also print it.A bit cumbersome but better than nothing. Craig
November 12, 200619 yr You can still use your FS9 created plans with FSX. Select "Flight Planner", then select LOAD. There is an ICON that you press to go up one directory level (it is a envelope with a arrow in it). After pressing this ICON, you will then see a list of directories, that include both "Flight Simulator Files", and one for "Flight Simulator X files". Select the "Flight Simulator Files" directory, any you can now select and load a FS9 plan. They work OK in FSX.jim
November 12, 200619 yr FSBuild version 2.3 works in FSX. It stores SID/STARS and will build flight plans for you. It will export plans to FSX in the CORRECT XML format as well. November 12, 200619 yr The point is not to create a flight plan with FSNavigator (I cant do it with FSX) but to see all the VORs and ILSs in one map.Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 12, 200619 yr Author Yeah, I miss it too, great program! You can find VOR & ILS frequencys by using the map function. It's cumbersome but it works. Just find the airport or VOR you're looking for, zoom in on it and mouse over the VOR or the desired runway. The runway will give you the ILS frequency and runway heading. Hope this Helps
