November 4, 20205 yr Hi fellow simmers. After 3 uneventful flights yesterday with no problems, my last flight of the day 10mins before landing the heading bug started incrementing in 10 degree steps for no apparent reason. I hadn't changed anything or pressed anything different as far as I'm aware. Is anyone else having the same problem? any help or ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance. Peter Porter
November 4, 20205 yr I have had that problem from day one of the sim. I’ve tried adjusting the mouse in Windows, and can’t find a solution. It’s annoying because it does this in all my MSFS aircraft.
November 4, 20205 yr Author Problem seems to be fixed, i unplugged all my peripherals and deleted the running cache in settings and now all seems ok. I hope this also helps you kfd.
November 4, 20205 yr Covered dozens of times on this forum, most probably caused by the "swicky switches" (vs. "momentary buttons") like the ones on the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke (unless you discovered a new bug).

And reported with other controls as well. Solution in flight is to use tune to within 10° with the mouse wheel, then click mouse buttons to fine tune in 1° increments. You do have to position the mouse pointer in the right place to perform the clicks. I too badly wish for his outstanding RXP GPS gauges, GTN and GNS and potentially G### gauges, for MSFS 2020. But to humorously call him out for paying attention to other things..... Well. Instead we should be all over Asobo to get him a complete Software Developer's Kit so he can get to work on it... November 4, 20205 yr @Steve Dra @fppilot and all others, thank you for your patience and vote of appreciation! I know your votes count and are not subject to be contested in the supreme court! 🤐😈 48 minutes ago, Steve Dra said: while I admire your constant willingness to help us with solutions to "other" flightsim issues This has always been a driver because simply, and I believe nearly all 3rd party developers I know of are feeling the same, we just share the same passion as our customers! This is a strong driver which makes all of us, 3rd parties and customers very knowledgeable in anything aviation and computer related. Furthermore, many of us are doing this for decades, have been through more than half a dozen computer technology leaps, and a dozen or more simulator products. This gives us, both as a community and as 3rd party developers, a certain perspective about what is best for the franchise in terms of simulation per our wide yet specific needs. I've been doing gauges and systems developments for 2 decades with a unique perspective in this industry due to the nature of the products I'm making, in which not only authenticity in look and feel is a signature, but also technical integration in the simulator and other aircraft is a strength. This was a rewarding challenge creating a new market for add-ons gauges which didn't existed 20 years ago, and this is an endless endeavor pushing so many different simulators where no one think it would be possible. I believe in building FS2020 SDK atop the mistakes of the FSX SDK is not doing it any good. I also believe Microsoft and Asobo should probably listen and directly talk to more 3rd party vendors and take the time to evaluate some of our more profound ideas for the SDK. Sending the public message they are primarily working with 1 vendor is certainly not doing this any good. So in the end maybe you should, maybe you should post all your supportive links and votes to where it counts so that maybe, just maybe, with enough votes and followers you could raise sufficient awareness flight simulator doesn't revolve just around study level airliners and despite the appearances, there are as many people, if not more, flying everyday their RXP avionics simulations in many different aircraft all around the world, and this counts as much for you as it counts for others flying their next business jet. There is not a simmer here with more than 10 posts who doesn't know that an incomplete SDK is holding most Commercial Devs at bay to move into the MSFS2020 marketplace...and in fact I try to use humor and witty replies to mock that situation when I can...like here regarding the similar debacle with the "MarketPlace" : I guess its all the sniffing of virtual paint fumes from providing repaints for the community in the last few years that has me acting completely goofy (Oh...he did NOT just pull the Community Painter card did he?)🤣 See.....its the fumes! I didn't even know I pulled the CP card until after I posted this!...and of course it's completely irrelevant in this matter, humor and goofyness is just my support mechanism to hide my frustration that Jean-Luc can't reverse-engineer the code, without the fully baked SDK, to give me the one piece of Commercial Software I yearn for. (Call me an over-stimulated 59 year-old kid....who's looking at blender® and Substance Painter©... that has me giddy of what I could possibly do with them if I can pry my butt out of the MSFS pilot's seat long enough to meld with them...if you thought my paints in the previous sim were acceptable while painting with that baby's toy, 2d, flat Photoshop....just wait) 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Hehe...at this point Jean-Luc, we're pretty confident that we're all long-standing members of this community...and I've never taken yours or Frank's comments out of context....now your jab at the Republicans on the other hand....🥊 LOL Kidding of course.
